David S. Bovenizer () serves as an Executive-in-Residence at Watermill Ventures and Watermill Advisors. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lionheart Ventures, a firm focused on middle market acquisitions of primarily manufacturing companies. In the early stages of founding Lionheart Ventures, Mr. Bovenizer formed a captive strategic alliance with a private equity firm, where he had operations and strategic leadership responsibility for its portfolio companies in addition to acquisition target generation, evaluation and deal execution.
Prior to forming the captive alliance, Mr. Bovenizer was Vice President, North America for Zomax Incorporated, a media manufacturing and supply chain management services company (NASDAQ: ZOMAX). Previously, Mr. Bovenizer held several executive leadership positions at The Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation (“DKM”) in its technology manufacturing business units.
Mr. Bovenizer graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Industrial Psychology and earned his M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Graduate School of Business. He is married and enjoys hockey, golf, scuba and coaching children’s team athletics.
