Stephen Kotler () is the Principal and Chief Financial Officer of The Watermill Group of companies including HMK Enterprises Inc, Watermill Ventures, Watermill Advisors, and Watermill Management. He is responsible for financial operations and coordination of business activities. He also is involved in pre-acquisition due diligence, deal structure and financing, post-acquisition integration and implementation. He is actively involved in the monitoring of portfolio company performance and investor relations. Prior to joining The Watermill Group in 2006, Mr. Kotler was Director of Finance and Operations at The WBUR Group, one of the country’s top ranked public radio stations. Prior to WBUR, he was a Principal of Mage, LLC, where he provided outsourced strategic financial services to clients in manufacturing, distribution, biotechnology, and high technology industries to improve financial performance, profitability and long term value. He also performed merger and acquisition due diligence and advised clients on post-merger integration issues. Previously, he was an audit manager at Miller Wachman, LLP, where he managed all financial and tax aspects of client engagements and utilized his IT skills in business process and work flow analysis, application consulting and systems integration to help companies increase their operational efficiency and return on investment. Mr. Kotler is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He currently serves on the Men’s Associates Board of Directors of Hebrew Senior Life, and Children’s Friend and Family Services of the North Shore Board of Directors. Mr. Kotler holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a graduate degree in Public Accountancy from McGill University. He is married with two children and enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, hockey and gourmet cooking. |
