Plymouth Firm Fine Tubes Gets New Owner
A Plymouth engineering factory has been taken over by new owners.
Fine Tubes Ltd has been bought by private investment firm the Watermill Group along with its sister company in the US, managers said.
The factory – which makes high-spec tubes for the aerospace, medical and nuclear industries – currently employs about 380 people.
In the past it has produced components for projects including the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
